At a ceremony on Friday, April 20th, the City of New York Fire Department celebrated FDNY members who had completed the West Point Counterterrorism Leadership Program. According to officials, the program focused on crisis leadership, strategic planning, and worldwide trends in terrorism and was carried out in collaboration with the US Military Academy West Point Combating Terrorism Center. The department stated that the extensive training enhances FDNY members' capacity to anticipate and address complicated threats while maintaining New York City's security.
