FAIR HAVEN, VT. — May 7 — Michael W. Barsalow Sr. passed away peacefully at Rutland Regional Medical Center after a protracted illness, which was acknowledged by members of the Fair Haven Fire/Rescue VT and the local community. Barsalow was born on February 12, 1939, to John J. and Catherine Griffith Barsalow. Throughout his life, he maintained ties to the Fair Haven neighborhood. Residents and families with lengthy connections to their communities and public safety groups are frequently recognized by local fire and emergency medical services in Vermont.
