PERKINSVILLE, VT. — May 3rd — During memorial services in Maryland, members of the West Weathersfield Fire Department joined firemen from throughout the nation in honoring Chief Spaulding. The chief's family, who were unable to attend the ceremony in person, was also acknowledged by department officials.
