Multi-Faceted Training Night Builds Skills and Readiness at Bethel Park

Bethel Park, PA - Bethel Park Volunteer Fire Company members participated in a busy and productive training session focused on both operational readiness and skill development.


One group concentrated on large area search, rescue, and firefighter survival techniques—critical skills for operating in complex, high-risk environments where rapid location and removal of victims is essential.


At the same time, another crew worked on preparing Engine 2 for service, packing hose and completing necessary tasks to move the apparatus closer to being placed in service.


The training highlighted the department’s commitment to maintaining readiness through hands-on practice and teamwork, ensuring members are prepared to respond effectively when called upon.
