MORRISTOWN, N.J. — May 11th — Members of Department Morristown FMBA 43 continued practical training intended to equip firefighters for a range of community emergencies. Technical rescue operations, high-angle situations, heavy lifting involving rail equipment, and structural firefighting drills were among the training activities. Regular training is still crucial for preserving operational preparedness and firefighter safety, according to officials.
In order to improve coordination during major incidents and mutual aid responses across Morris County, crews regularly train with the Morristown Fire Bureau and Morristown Department of Public Safety. Additionally, firefighters concentrated on building familiarization, ladder operations, and rescue methods utilized in difficult situations. According to department heads, the ongoing training keeps personnel ready to handle both routine calls and complicated crises.
