Caughdenoy Firefighters Respond to 35 Calls in April

As the Caughdenoy Volunteer Fire Department entered the hectic spring and summer response season, its members responded to 35 service requests in April.
Several outdoor fires, car crashes, and the department's first water rescue of the season were among the occurrences reported by officials throughout the month. By the end of April, the department's call total for the year had reached 119 instances.
Chief Chris Centner, with 26 calls, and firefighter Keith Waldby, with 19 calls, were the department's top responders for the month. Captain Robert Indick attended to eight alarms, Lieutenant Matthew Francis handled twelve calls, while Lieutenant Leon Millett and Second Assistant Chief Ryan Eiffe each responded to fourteen occurrences.
Residents who were interested in volunteering were also urged by officials to get in touch with the department for membership details.
