With help from Waterway Fire Service Testing, the East Shelby Volunteer Fire Company finished their yearly fire hose and ladder testing on May 13.

According to officials, the testing procedure helps guarantee that all department ladders and hoses continue to adhere to safety regulations and are prepared for emergency situations. As part of the department's yearly maintenance program, crews evaluated equipment performance and operational readiness throughout the day.
