Junior Firefighters Participated in CPR Training in Malverne

MALVERNE, N.Y. — 2nd May — Recently, junior firefighters from the Malverne, Lynbrook, and East Rockaway fire departments attended a CPR training course hosted by the Malverne Fire Department. According to officials, the training concentrated on imparting critical lifesaving techniques that firemen and emergency medical services personnel utilize in medical emergencies. During practical CPR drills and emergency response scenarios, participants were assisted by members of the Lynbrook Fire Department Medical Company.


Junior firefighter programs continue to give young members the chance to learn about emergency services, collaboration, and public safety obligations, according to department officials. The necessity of knowing how to perform CPR and receiving emergency assistance as soon as possible in the event of a cardiac or medical emergency in the community was also emphasized during the training.
