LONG BEACH, N.Y. — 24th April — After Captain David Wagner passed away last week, members of the City of Long Beach New York Fire Department, situated at 1 W Chester St. in Long Beach, NY, United States, 11561, recently came together to pay their respects and lay him to rest. Wagner committed 45 years of voluntary work to safeguarding Long Beach citizens and assisting the fire department's operations, according to department officials.
His dedication to the community and the many years he spent working alongside department members were recalled by fellow firefighters. Additionally, officials offered their sympathies to Wagner's children, grandchildren, and wife, Denise. His commitment and duty, according to the agency, had a long-lasting effect on the Long Beach Fire agency and the neighborhood.
