PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y. — 29th April — Police Chief Bobby Del Muro was recently honored on his retirement by the Port Washington Fire Department, situated at 423 Port Washington Blvd. in Port Washington, NY, United States, 11050, following 45 years and five days of service to the Port Washington community. Del Muro's leadership, professionalism, and commitment to public safety throughout his tenure were acknowledged by department officials.


Throughout his tenure, he collaborated extensively with nearby fire and EMS departments on district-wide emergency situations, public gatherings, and community safety initiatives. Del Muro's long-standing devotion and dedication to locals were also acknowledged by the Port Washington Police Benevolent Association and community supporters. According to officials, his contributions had a long-lasting effect on the local emergency services community as well as the police department.
