Members operated under regulated training conditions while working through a variety of scenarios. The exercise was a part of an active month of training, according to department officials, with the goal of preserving firefighter readiness and skills. Additionally, officials expressed gratitude to the Oceanside Fire Department for organizing the event and encouraging ongoing collaboration with nearby emergency services in Nassau County.
