Setauket Junior Members Earn Eagle Scout Rank

Collin Giles and Thomas Tunstead, two younger members, were honored by the Setauket Fire Department on May 19th for becoming Eagle Scouts.


According to officials, the two members finished an Eagle Scout project at the Three Village 9/11 Memorial that involved setting up benches, flags, a gazebo, and a podium. Both members were commended by the agency for their commitment and the long-term effects their initiative will have on the neighborhood.


The department praised Giles and Tunstead for reaching the Eagle Scout rank, describing it as a noteworthy achievement and a testament to their dedication to service.
