Members of the West Sayville Fire Department visited the Long Island Maritime Museum on May 5th as part of the Tunnel to Towers Steel Across America Tour.

Ladder 5 contributed an American flag ladder arch for the occasion, according to officials, and department members also participated in the color guard. The trip honors first responders and military people nationwide while also paying tribute to those who lost their lives on September 11.

During its visit to Long Island, the department expressed how proud it was to support the event and participate in the ceremony.
