Copiague Fire Department Recognizes Firefighter-Nurses

During Nurses Week on May 8, the Copiague Fire Department honored personnel who serve the community as nurses and firemen.


Firefighter Janet Hack, Firefighter Aleks Zieba, and Assistant Chief Nicholas Orlando were recognized by officials for their commitment, professionalism, and ongoing service in emergency response and medical capacities.


The department expressed gratitude to its firefighter-nurses for the assistance and care they give to the community in both medical facilities and emergency situations.
