Randolph Fire Company Marks International Firefighters’ Day

RANDOLPH, NY — May 4th — The Department Randolph Fire Company Inc. honored firefighters for their dedication to public safety and their service on International Firefighters' Day. Every year on May 4th, International Firefighters' Day honors emergency personnel for their contributions to community protection, emergency medical response, rescue operations, and fire control. Firefighters who respond to nocturnal calls, extreme weather, holidays, and other emergencies throughout the year were recognized by department authorities.
Through training, public awareness, and mutual assistance response, volunteer firemen continue to play a significant role in assisting emergency operations throughout western New York, according to officials. Additionally, locals were urged to honor firefighters and express gratitude to emergency personnel for their ongoing commitment to the Randolph neighborhood.
