This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

During a hectic 24-hour period on May 2 and 3, members of the Bullville Fire Company managed many responses and training exercises.

Engine 252 and Utility 253 went to the New City Fire Department in Rockland County, according to officials, to offer standby coverage for the department's annual dinner. Before heading back home early the following morning, Bullville personnel reacted to an automatic alarm assignment while patrolling the district.

Additional Bullville members responded to a rollover car accident that necessitated a medical helicopter response for one patient while those teams were out of town. During the incident, firefighters provided assistance to EMS, law enforcement, and nearby agencies.

On May 3rd, several department members also participated in a live burn drill at the Orange County Fire Training Center hosted by Battalion 2.
