The Cicero Fire Department's monthly training exercise on vehicle fire operations took place on April 30 at Station 2.

According to officials, firefighters examined the most recent SOPs, which cover equipment usage and reaction protocols for car fires. In order to learn extinguishing tactics in a safe environment, members also took part in practical training exercises.

Regular drills, according to the department, assist firemen stay ready and maintain operational readiness for community emergencies. Additionally, the Chief's Office appreciated everyone who came to the training.
