Firefighters and Deputies Supported Earth Day Event

LITTLE VALLEY, NY — April 24th — Despite the wet weather, volunteers from Grace Bible Baptist Church and members of the Little Valley Fire Department participated in an Earth Day cleanup. As part of the yearly environmental effort, firefighters helped clean public spaces and gather litter. Alongside neighborhood volunteers, Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office personnel took part in the initiative.


Beyond emergency response calls, community involvement is still a crucial component of the fire service's job, according to department officials. around the year, volunteer programs and community improvement initiatives are routinely supported by fire departments and public safety organizations around the region.
