Iselin/West Lebanon Recognizes EMS Week

The Iselin/West Lebanon Volunteer Fire Company urged the community to honor EMS personnel for their commitment and service in honor of EMS Week on May 18.


The significance of emergency medical personnel and the sensitive care they offer throughout their communities were emphasized by officials. Ashley Harmon and Chris Huether, two of the department's EMTs, were also honored for their ongoing dedication to emergency medical services and professional growth.


Ashley Harmon is now working for Lower Kiski Ambulance Service while earning a nursing degree at Citizens School of Nursing. Chris Huether is pursuing certification as a paramedic with Murrysville Medic One.


During EMS Week, the department expressed gratitude to all EMS providers for their professionalism and assistance.
