Hydrant Operations & Engine 5 Training Strengthen Mutual Aid Readiness

West Paris, ME - West Paris Fire Department members, alongside the Woodstock Fire Department, participated in a productive monthly training session focused on hydrant operations and in-service familiarization with the department’s new Engine 5.


Crews worked through practical evolutions involving water supply setup and large-diameter hose deployment, reinforcing key skills essential for efficient fireground operations.


The training also provided an opportunity for members to gain hands-on experience with new apparatus, improving overall readiness and operational confidence.


Throughout the evening, strong participation and teamwork were on display between both departments, highlighting the continued commitment to interagency cooperation and community protection.
