Alna, ME - Alna Volunteer Fire Department responded in mutual aid to Jefferson Fire & Rescue for a reported woods fire in the Egypt Road area. Five firefighters responded with Forestry Truck 4 and Pumper/Tanker Truck 3.

Upon arrival, crews established suppression operations with handlines advanced from Forestry Truck 4, while Pumper/Tanker Truck 3 operated as the dedicated water supply source.

Firefighters worked in coordinated fashion alongside mutual aid partners to contain the fire in challenging wooded terrain.

Alna units remained on scene for approximately two hours, assisting with extinguishment and mop-up operations before clearing the incident without further issue.
