315 FOOLS Hosted Advanced Fire Service Training Session

SYRACUSE, NY — May 1st — 315 FOOLS held a Search & Rescue and Ventilation training event for members of the Hinsdale Volunteer Fire Department. Modern search methods, ventilation procedures, and firefighter coordination during structural fire events were the main topics of discussion in the class. Together with responders from other local departments, firefighters Kelvin Jones, Matthew Jones, and Michael Hunter took part in the practical training.


These kinds of regional training initiatives continue to assist firefighters in enhancing safety procedures, operational preparedness, and fireground communication. To stay up to date with changing tactics and emergency response procedures utilized during structural fire and rescue emergencies, departments throughout New York routinely encourage members to attend outside training opportunities.
