The Palenville Fire Department praised its members and their families on April 20, Volunteer Recognition Day, for the time and commitment they give to the community via volunteer work. Two new members, Grayson and Scottie, were also greeted by officials, who noted that both had previously been giving their time and assistance to the department prior to formally becoming active members this year.
