Firefighter Maxwell Craig received congratulations from the Jefferson Hills Fire Rescue on May 14th for earning his Pro Board Firefighter I certification.

According to officials, the certification comprised written and practical skill tests in addition to 164 hours of classroom and practical instruction. Craig is now acknowledged by the department as a full inside fireman after completing the curriculum.

Firefighter Craig will continue to obtain practical experience while responding to situations and working with other department personnel, according to the department. He was also recognized by officials for his devotion to the community.
