ELLICOTTVILLE, NY — May 2nd — The East Otto Fire Company and the Otto Volunteer Fire Company staged an annual combined Installation Dinner to honor members of the Ellicottville Volunteer Fire Department. Rob Germain, the Ellicottville Fire Chief and District 5 Coordinator, was given a special recognition award during the event for his years of service, leadership, mutual aid support, and ongoing support of nearby departments around the region.

Regional collaboration is a crucial component of emergency operations since departments from all around Cattaraugus County frequently collaborate during fires, rescues, and significant catastrophes.
