LOCK HAVEN, PA — April 17th — During National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, members of the Dunnstown Fire Company honored dispatchers who assist Clinton County residents and emergency responders. During emergencies, telecommunicators frequently serve as the first point of contact, coordinating fire, emergency medical services, and law enforcement responses while giving field teams vital information. Additionally, dispatchers keep lines of communication open during active crises and help callers with emergency advice.
In observance of the week, emergency response organizations throughout Pennsylvania honored the commitment and professionalism of county communication center staff. Dunnstown Fire Company members expressed gratitude to area dispatchers for their unwavering support of first responders and the communities they serve on a daily basis.
