Members of the Norwich Firefighters Association used Ladder 237 and the department's roof prop to conduct ventilation training on April 23.

According to officials, the training concentrated on ventilation strategies that help engine company staff working within buildings by releasing heat, smoke, and gasses. According to the department, ongoing practical training keeps firefighters competent and effective during emergency situations.
