Fredonia Fire Department Celebrates 125 Years of Service

The Fredonia Fire Department celebrated its 125th anniversary and honored member accomplishments and years of service on May 10th with family, friends, and supporters.


Ray Beach was recognized for 55 years of service, Larry Barter for 50 years, Craig Aldrich and Richard "Chico" Lascola for 45 years, Doug Essek for 35 years, Daniel "Chip" Riewaldt for 15 years, and Christina Ahrens and Tyler Bayles for 10 years.


Robert Olmedo was named Firefighter of the Year, and Colton Boudreaux was named Top Responder. The department expressed gratitude to its members and supporters for contributing to the celebration of 125 years of community service.
