Morris, CT - The Morris Fire Company hosted a hands-on training session focused on the department’s new Steck Emergency Vehicle Access Kit.
Led by Durable Radiator and Auto Body, the drill provided members with practical instruction on safely accessing and disabling damaged vehicles during emergency incidents. Firefighters trained on techniques to mitigate hazards associated with modern vehicle systems, including electrical components and airbag deployment.
The session emphasized responder safety and efficiency, ensuring crews are well-prepared to handle the complexities of today’s vehicle extrication scenarios.
