Auburn Fire Lieutenant Brian Jessie Honored for Community Leadership
The Auburn Fire Department congratulates Lieutenant Brian Jessie on receiving the Community Leadership Award at the Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce Awards Luncheon.
The award, presented through Leadership Cayuga, recognizes alumni who demonstrate outstanding public service and community impact. A member of the Class of 2023, Jessie was nominated by fellow alumni for his long-standing dedication to leadership and service.
Serving with the Auburn Fire Department since 2006, he is also active in community initiatives, including the United Way campaign efforts, which have helped raise significant funds for local programs. He further contributes as an on-field commentator for the annual Auburn Fire Department vs. Auburn Police Department charity softball game, supporting the Chloe Calhoun Scholarship Fund.
Jessie’s work reflects a strong commitment to service, leadership, and giving back to the community both on and off duty.
