Engine 91, EMS Crews Provide Public Safety Demonstration

Members of the Aliquippa Firefighters and Economy EMS met with the Aliquippa Girl Scouts on May 13th to give a presentation on public safety.


Scouts were given the opportunity to tour the equipment and ask questions regarding emergency services operations while firefighters and EMS staff demonstrated Engine 91 and Economy Ambulance 41. According to officials, the event's main goal was to illustrate how EMS and fire departments collaborate to help the community during emergencies.


According to the department, outreach activities such as these foster neighborhood ties and educate youth about public safety, service, and teamwork.
