MYSTIC, CT — April 18th — At its annual banquet, the Old Mystic Fire Department named firefighter Zoë Antipas Firefighter of the Year. According to department representatives, the medal honors commitment to community service, emergency response, and training all year long. Antipas received recognition for his ongoing assistance with departmental operations, emergency situations, and public events that benefit the Old Mystic neighborhood.

Firefighters, officers, family members, and neighborhood supporters came together for the annual banquet to honor departmental accomplishments and years of service.
