Members of South Burlington Fire IAFF Local 3671 recently trained on rescuing patients trapped beneath cars and heavy objects. Firefighters acted out scenarios in which victims were pinned beneath a big truck and under concrete using a training dummy. According to officials, during the drills, teams used hydraulic rescue equipment, cribbing, and high-pressure air bags while simulating emergency medical services.
