Hinesburg Fire Department Honors Linda Palmer

In remembrance of Linda Palmer, who passed away earlier this week, the Hinesburg Fire Department hung black bunting over the fire station on May 15.
According to officials, Palmer was an auxiliary member of the department and frequently helped with fundraisers, the department's annual July 4th chicken BBQ, and other community events. George Palmer, a former assistant chief who worked for the Town of Hinesburg for fifty years, was also married to her.
