Firefighters from the Palmer and Three Rivers fire departments helped the personnel at Old Mill Pond Elementary School with their yearly bus evacuation drills on May 8.
According to officials, the exercises assisted staff and students in practicing effective and safe evacuation techniques in case of an emergency. Additionally, the training gave firefighters a chance to engage with youngsters in a constructive learning environment.
