Members of the Lee Fire Rescue practiced water rescue on Silver Lake on April 23. Firefighters learned how to take people from the water onto the rescue boat and rehearsed wearing ice water rescue suits. According to officials, the boat offers good stability during rescue operations and is light enough for two persons to carry.
