Turner, ME - Turner Fire Rescue responded to a reported vehicle fire on Auburn Road, arriving to find a car fully engulfed in flames in the northbound breakdown lane.

Firefighters rapidly deployed hose lines and knocked down the fire within seconds of applying water. No occupants were inside the vehicle, and no injuries were reported.

Route 4 traffic was temporarily shut down to ensure scene safety and later reopened once crews completed operations.
