PROPANE EMERGENCY TRAINING STRENGTHENS HAZMAT RESPONSE CAPABILITIES

Caribou, ME - Caribou Fire & Ambulance Department firefighters Adam Chartier and Chad McCarthy recently attended the Propane Gas Association of New England (PGANE) Emergency Response Training Program at the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy.


The program is designed to enhance firefighter and propane industry technician skills in managing propane-related incidents, including gas leaks, structure fires, and high-risk scenarios such as BLEVE events.


The department extends appreciation to Daigle Oil Company for their continued partnership and support of advanced training opportunities that enhance responder readiness and help protect both the community and emergency personnel.
