Bar Harbor, ME - Firefighters with the Bar Harbor Fire Department conducted their annual confined space rescue training, focusing on operations in restricted and hazardous environments.

Instruction was led by Specialty Response Solutions, Inc., providing crews with expert-level guidance on technical rescue techniques. Training scenarios were enhanced by the use of tight, realistic spaces made available through the Jackson Lab, allowing members to operate in conditions similar to real-world incidents.

This hands-on training reinforces the department’s readiness to safely and effectively perform rescues in complex confined space situations.
