SALISBURY, MA — April 26th — In honor of firefighter Tony Raven's enduring influence on the department and fire service community, members of Salisbury Firefighters Local 4694 commemorated the tenth anniversary of his death. Raven was remembered as a well-liked firefighter, friend, husband, father, and mentor who worked diligently and professionally alongside other members.

A fireboat bearing his name and the ongoing service of his son, Firefighter Matt Raven, are two examples of how his legacy is carried on across the department, according to fire officials. Raven's dedication to serving the public and helping other firefighters is still a significant aspect of the department's history, according to department members. Firefighters in Salisbury continue to commemorate his contributions.
