Mutual Aid Assisted Holland Rescue on Brimfield Road

HOLLAND, MA. — June 9 — A person was trapped under a car that fell during maintenance, prompting the Holland Fire Department to react to Brimfield Road. When firefighters and emergency medical workers discovered the patient stuck, they started rescue efforts right away and administered sophisticated medical care, including CPR.


The Wales Fire Department arrived with extra extrication equipment and mutual aid to help at the incident, and a medical helicopter was called. In order to properly remove the patient and get ready for transfer, crews collaborated. The event made clear how crucial coordinated mutual aid, specialized rescue tools, and quick teamwork are in vehicle-related catastrophes that need for sophisticated patient care and complicated extrication.
