Future Firefighters Advance Through Interior Firefighting Training Milestone

Monroeville, PA - Members of the Spring Essentials Program at the Westmoreland County Community College Public Safety Training Center have successfully completed the Interior Firefighting Module, marking a key step toward FF1 Pro Board certification.


The training milestone reflects extensive classroom and hands-on instruction, preparing candidates for interior operations in structural firefighting.


Pennsylvania State Fire Academy instructors and Monroeville Fire Department Company #5 personnel played a key role in guiding and mentoring students throughout the program.


Department members expressed pride in those who completed the course, recognizing their dedication and continued commitment to advancing their skills in service to their communities.
