BRADFORD, ME — April 24th — After Caron Signs finished updating the decal and wording, the Bradford Fire Department put Engine 178 and its forestry trailer back into operation. According to department officials, the equipment has new department markings and graphics, including as updated decals on Engine 178 and department patch letters applied to the forestry trailer. During emergency responses, mutual help calls, and community activities, the improvements enhance visibility and recognition.

As part of fleet maintenance and operational preparation initiatives, fire departments throughout Maine update apparatus markings on a regular basis. Responders benefit from clear unit identification at emergency situations, particularly in large-scale incidents involving several agencies. In order to assist fire safety and emergency operations across the community, the Bradford Fire Department keeps up its response fleet and equipment.
