Windsor, VT - Proctorsville Volunteer Fire Department members participated in a rope rescue awareness training session in preparation for an upcoming Rope Rescue Operations course hosted at PFD.

The training focused on foundational concepts and readiness for more advanced technical rescue instruction as part of the Okemo Valley Tech Rescue program.

Instruction was led with support from Ludlow Chief Whalen, along with Rope Rescue Technicians Jessy and Tom, who assisted with demonstrations and hands-on learning.

Several local firefighters will be continuing their training through the upcoming operations-level course, strengthening regional rescue capability and preparedness.
