Fairfield, CT - The Fairfield Fire Department joined the Fairfield Police Department, Fairfield County Regional Dispatch Center, American Medical Response, Bridgeport Hospital, and Lesko Funeral Home for a pre-prom mock crash at Fairfield Ludlowe High School aimed at educating students on the dangers of impaired driving.

The realistic scenario walked students through a simulated 911 call and full emergency response. Firefighters performed vehicle extrication using hydraulic rescue tools, while EMS crews provided patient care and police managed the scene and conducted an investigation.

Officials emphasized the exercise as a powerful reminder of the real-life consequences impaired driving can have on victims, families, and first responders.
