MADISON, CT — May 1st — In order to honor members, leadership, and departmental accomplishments throughout the previous year, the North Madison Volunteer Fire Company had its 2026 Installation Dinner. New officers, years of service milestones, recipients of response awards, and personnel who finished advanced training and certifications were all recognized at the ceremony. According to department representatives, the honors demonstrated ongoing dedication to community involvement, education, and emergency response.

We congratulated previous Stewards Committee Chair Ed Delmonte, former Fire Chief Mike Penders, and former President Paul Harris for their leadership and commitment to the institution. One of the department's greatest awards, the John Brady Spirit of the Company Award, was given to Edwin "Ed" Wolff in recognition of his lengthy service, leadership, and unwavering support of the North Madison Volunteer Fire Company and its members.
