North Madison Fire Company Elects New Officers

?MADISON, CT — April 14th — As the department continues its 100th year of service to the Town of Madison, the North Madison Volunteer Fire Company held its annual company meeting and elected officers for the 2026–2027 fiscal year. In addition to Gabe Balsamo as Deputy Chief of Administration, Justin Cappetta as Deputy Chief of Training, and Mark DeCillis as Deputy Chief of Operations, Christopher Bernier was chosen as Chief of Department. During the meeting, more line and company officers were chosen.


The department honored departing President Paul Harris for ten years as the company's president and departing Chief Mike Penders for five years as chief. According to officials, during their tenure in office, both leaders made significant contributions to member safety, department operations, training, and community involvement.
