Crews Prepare New Apparatus for Service with Hands-On Hose Loading Drill

Newfane, VT - Members of Newbrook Fire & Rescue conducted a hands-on training session focused on preparing their newest apparatus for frontline service.


Firefighters spent time loading hose and organizing equipment, an essential step in ensuring the truck is fully operational and ready to respond.


The drill provided members with an opportunity to become familiar with the layout and functionality of the new unit while reinforcing proper hose deployment practices.


Officials noted that while the work may seem routine, it plays a critical role in readiness and efficiency on the fireground, bringing the department one step closer to placing the apparatus into active service.
