Manchester Firefighters Complete Intensive Swiftwater Rescue Instructor Training
Manchester, NH - Members of the Manchester Fire Department recently completed a comprehensive Swiftwater Rescue Train-the-Trainer program, enhancing both operational readiness and instructor capabilities within the department.
The multi-phase training included classroom instruction, pool-based exercises, and hands-on river rescue scenarios designed to simulate real-world water emergencies.
A total of nineteen Manchester firefighters, along with one firefighter from Concord, participated in the program.
The training focused on advanced water rescue techniques, operational safety, and developing personnel to serve as instructors for future courses.
The effort marks a continued commitment to strengthening regional response capabilities and fostering interagency collaboration.
