On April 30, the Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Corporation announced that it was actively seeking new volunteers.

To help with events and support operations, the department is looking for fire police, EMTs, interior and exterior firefighters, and associate members. According to officials, the organization handles a variety of situations, such as EMS calls, auto accidents, and building fires.

Regardless of past experience, new members receive training and certifications. Every Tuesday at 7 p.m., the department hosts training sessions. Interested locals are welcome to stop by the station to meet members and find out more about becoming a member.
